September 28th - October 12th

Family week at the Super Mall in Angeles!  What an awesome turnout!  What an awesome event.

We will miss Elder & Sister Starnes.  They have been our only Member & Leader support senior missionaries.

Found a really cool flower on Mt Arayat today on our hike.

We were instructed by the Missionary Department to let our family know that we were unaffected by the recent earthquake in Cebu.  We are safe.

As President Henry B. Eyring, Second Counselor in the First Presidency, taught: “If you trust God enough to listen for His message in every sermon, song, and prayer in this conference, you will find it. And if you then go and do what He would have you do, your power to trust Him will grow, and in time you will be overwhelmed with gratitude to find that He has come to trust you” (“Trust in God, Then Go and Do,” Ensign or Liahona, November 2010, 73)

39 beautiful people were baptized in our mission on Saturday.  We were able to attend 3 of them. Oh what joy.

Oh no!  Dengue season again - poor Elder Barnett & also poor Elder Siriban, his companion.  Being stuck in the hospital for days is such a challenge.  (oh my - that hospital). Just don't tell Elder Barnett's mother or she would probably come out here and get him & take him home.)
