Our departing missionaries. It was a wonderful day at the Urdaneta temple. What a special group.
Sister Sollos arrived in our mission 5 weeks after we did. She was in our first group of arriving missionaries. We have loved watching Sister Sollos become confident not only in missionary skills but also in her testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We will miss this happy missionary, Elder Tabalba. We are so impressed with the way he has served the past 2 years. Besides his sister, he is the only member in his family. We loved when he shared with us how the Book of Mormon changed him as a missionary. He loves the Book of Mormon.
Elder Ramirez
Elder Arro
Elder Lehi Corton as served in every assignment in our mission. He has loved being a missionary. He has such a personal story of faith and love for his Heavenly Father. It is amazing when we look for the good and learn from it. We also love to listen to Elder Cortan sing.
This lizard came right onto our front porch! Michael ran around to the front of the house and filmed the whole adventure. I think it is a monitor lizard like we saw when were were visiting El Nido with The Noels
We had such a nice visit with President & Sister Rosales of Mabalacat. We really enjoy getting to know the stories of our Filipino friends here. What a blessing it is to share life experiences with each other.
Sister Nuñala & Sister Gibby just sent this photo to me. As we drove home Saturday night from interviewing missionaries up north they were standing on the side of the road waiting for a trike. It was fun to give them a short ride to their upcoming appointments. They are a joy to visit with and to work with. We are blessed with such awesome missionaries
We did a bike, hike, bike with the Langfords today. We started and ended at the Clark parade grounds and hiked to the Haduan Falls (not too much of a waterfall, but a fun hike mostly up the river.). We are so grateful to be serving with the Langfords.
We welcomed 16 new missionaries to our mission on Thursday. It is always such a great day. Our trainers are such fine missionaries. We loved being with the trainers and all of these new missionaries. What a great day!
Welcome Elder Villonico. He joined the church with his entire family in 2006
Welcome Elder Magos. He was baptized March 12, 2022 when his friends invited him to attend church with them. He is so grateful for those friends! He was inspired to serve a mission by the missionaries that taught him. He has a strong testimony. He has been living with his bishop in the Manila area.
Welcome Elder Jimenez. He is the first missionary to serve from his family. He is determined to share the gospel because he knows that Jesus Christ can heal us.
Welcome Elder Albalos. He is excited to grow as he serves here as a missionary. He too is the first missionary to serve from his family.
Welcome Elder Mugar. He is a seminary graduate and comes from an active family. His parents both served missions. He loved the MTC and loved strving to know more about the Savior, Jesus Christ.
Welcome Elder Escalante. First missionary to serve from his family. He loved what he learned in the MTC about helping others feel the spirit.
Welcome Elder Bartolame. (His name is actually Labron James Bartolame - his dad loves basketball.) He joined the church with his father in 2014. He has been working with missionaries in his home town to be prepared to serve.
Welcome Elder Paray from Cebu. We have so many great missionaries from Cebu serving here with us. His mother passed away when he was 8 years old. He loves how the Book of Mormon provides answers to his trials and challenges. He has a great love of the Savior.
Welcome Elder Ferolino. His family are all members of the church, but he is the first to serve as a missionary. He said to us a couple of times "This is a dream come true for me to serve as a missionary."
Welcome Elder Tiangco. "I will do my best." "I will serve because I love Him."
Welcome Elder Diaz. He shared with us that growing up he ate 2 times a day, but at the MTC he was able to eat three meals every day. He loves how the gospel has blessed him in so many ways.
Welcome Elder Unggo from way down south in the Philippines.
Welcome Sister Moore from Arizona. We received 2 American Sisters this batch!
We got to welcome our newest Senior Sister Missionary - Welcome Sister Roberts. What a blessing she will be. We are always amazed at stories of sacrifice and service.
Welcome Sister McKenzie from West Valley City. She is good friends with one of our former missionaries - Sister Andrea Thomsen
