August 19th - September 1st

Brooklyn and her husband John are here to visit us!! Funny how you leave from California on Tuesday and get here on Thursday morning. Oh my heart it is WONDERFUL to spend time with B&J.

                                                         At the pearl market!

Having Brooklyn and John here is the BEST! We love showing them and introducing them! We are having fun Filipino missionary expriences!

We are having the BEST week ever. FAMILY!!

For our medium sized boat, a boat drive and 2 boat assistants (one named Wilson and one named AreoSmith) it was less that $40 dollars - 2000 PhPesos. It was great weather - a bit overcast and a few sprinkles, PERFECT!

Hiking on Governors Island.

Zip-line on Governer's Island! So much fun -  but much too quick.

Jumping into a bat cave, and swimming out to the ocean. I did it! ( I guess it helps when the entire crowd is cheering you on!)

Wilson - our boat guide through the islands.

We had the opportunity to go Helmet Diving. It's like being underwater with a clear bucket on your head with a tube that goes to the surface so you can breathe air. It is really kinda crazy. They have giant clams on the bottom of the ocean and they have you stick your hand in each clam! It is a MUST TRY -  just for the experience, plus the price is right - $4 for each of us.

What an awesome day - the water is so surprisingly warm! We had cloud cover so that was perfect!

Had to eat at least once at Jollibees!

Biking across the street from the Mission Home!

Riding a trike in Santa Ignacia. One of our trike drivers couldn't stop laughing at us! But the other trike driver has attended church twice and we invited him to come again!

Moroni 8:25
And the first fruits of repentance is baptism; and baptism cometh by faith unto the fulfilling the commandments; and the fulfilling the commandments bringeth remission of sins.

Baptism of this special couple!

Our visit to Birabira to wish Elder Walters a very happy birthday!!

You never know what you will see on the t-shirts that people are wearing!

They are smiling even though they are sweating!!

Can you find the 3 of us (in the back) in this amazing group of youth of the chosen birthright?!

They do have burgers here... although, they maybe a bit small.

Happy 40th Anniversary!

Pandan Sisters - Sister Tufui and Sister Ordjan with 2 young men - Michael Joseph and Jumary Joseph. They are 18 and 19 years old. Future missionaries!

We took B&J on our favorite bike ride in the Clark Area. Missionary Bikes!

They are on their way to El Nido on Palawan Island. Clark Airport is beautiful. Now our Mission Home feels so empty with B&J gone -  but the best news is they will be back!
